In general, education is almost equal with Indonesia Australia and is open to international students including Indonesia student at every level of the following:
Education in Australia
Education is compulsory in Australia for 10 years, but for those who are obliged to go on to university for 12 years. School curriculum leading to Australia's national curriculum with compulsory subjects like English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. At the end of grade 10, students will face the test of School Certificates. Then they could choose to go to school or work - or continue to complete the Certificate and won class 12.

1. Kindergarten
2. grades 1-6 Primary School
3. 7-9 grade Junior High School
4. 10-12 class of Senior High School. This particular level is slightly different where after class 11 (equivalent to high school grade 2), the student is allowed to choose to complete 12nya class or go directly to the level of Diploma or Foundation.
5. If a student chooses to complete grade 12, then when entering university or college, they go in the first year.
6. If a student chooses to go directly to the Foundation program after grade 11, then when entering university or college, they go in the first year also.
7. If a student chooses to go directly to the Diploma program after grade 11, then when entering the university, they go straight in the second year for the Diploma program is equivalent to first year studies at university. Unfortunately, Diploma programs do not have all the majors, usually majoring in Social and Information Technology course. Science and Engineering Department still has to go through the class path 12 or the Foundation.

For the undergraduate level, a student may choose art or science majors for 4 to 5 years with a minimum of IELTS 6.0 in English. International students must obtain a certificate that is equivalent to Year 12 in Australia or can take the University Foundation Year and immediately went to university in Australia.
Master's degree or PhD in Australia Education System
University studies can be forwarded to the postgraduate level. Traditional Masters degrees are either in the "Arts" (MA) or "Sciences" (MSc). Postgraduate degrees are increasingly popular is the Masters in Business Administration (MBA). Master program lasts for one to two years and require exams and a thesis to graduate. For certain programs, experience in research and work required for a doctoral program, or a PhD, which can last for four or five years at the school and the research and dissertation.
